This Test will consist of 2 matches. The first segment is a match duel using a non-meta deck. The second segment is also a match using a meta deck.

In the first segment the Testers will follow the rules of non-meta.

The second segment will allow the testee to use meta decks while dueling in a match. The Tester may use Meta decks. (Meta decks can be seen on the Spoiler above)
The Testee doesn't have to use a meta deck if they don't have one. If they don't then the non-meta rubric will be used twice; however, the tester does not have to use meta either if the testee is not using meta.

Testee please inform Tester if you intend to skip out on second segment BEFORE the test.

1st Segment Rubric

Consider: Does he/she know what they're doing? Are there any mistakes or misplays made?

Deck Construction: 35/40

This will be broken down into 4 sections:

Speed 10/10

How quickly is the deck able to create different plays? Remember that this relative (Meta decks are expected to be faster).

Consistency 10/10

Self explanatory. The deck must be able to consistently play well.

Flexibility 5/10

Similar to consistency, but applies at all times during the duel. How well can the deck handle sudden changes and different predicaments?

Synergy 10/10

How well do the cards mesh and play off of each other? For example, a Merlantean deck has high synergy.

Side Deck: 5/15: Side decks are required to get any points for this section.

Seeing as this is a crucial part of playing well, the testee must demonstrate knowledge of how to effectively use a side deck. If they do not have a side deck they will get no points

Field Control: 8/15
Consider: Does your opponent control your field? Do they back you in a corner?

Anticipation: 7/10
How well does your opponent have a read on your strategy? Do they counter at the right time?
